1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RewardGuru ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our") at rewardguru.in, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, deal submitters, moderators, and any other person who accesses or uses the Platform in any manner.

2. About RewardGuru

RewardGuru is a community-powered deal sharing and discovery platform where registered users can submit, vote on, comment on, and discuss deals, offers, discounts, and coupons available from various online and offline retailers in India. RewardGuru acts solely as a platform facilitator and is not a retailer, seller, or party to any transaction between users and third-party stores.

3. Eligibility

To register and use the Platform, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Be a resident of India or accessing the Platform from India
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
Register using a valid and accepted email domain as listed on the Platform
Not have been previously banned or suspended from the Platform

By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Registration

You may register using a valid email address from an accepted domain (currently Gmail and other domains as approved by the Platform administrator). You may also register using Google OAuth where enabled.

4.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@rewardguru.in if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

4.3 Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, ban, or permanently delete any account at our sole discretion for violation of these Terms, abuse of the Platform, fraudulent activity, spam, or any behavior deemed harmful to the community. Banned users are prohibited from creating new accounts.

4.4 Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile and personal data will be removed, however deal submissions and community contributions may be retained in anonymized form to preserve community integrity.

5. User-Generated Content

5.1 Deal Submissions

Users may submit deals, offers, coupons, and discounts to the Platform subject to the following rules:

Deals must be real, currently valid, and verifiable
The deal URL must be a valid and active link to the retailer's website
Deals must not be duplicate submissions of an existing active deal
Users are limited to 5 deal submissions per 24-hour period
Deals submitted by new or low-reputation users may be subject to moderator review before going live

5.2 Comments and Discussions

Users may post comments on deals and participate in community discussions subject to the following rules:

Comments and discussions must be respectful, relevant, and constructive
No hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or abusive language
No spam, self-promotion, or irrelevant external links
No impersonation of other users, brands, or public figures
No sharing of personal information of other users

5.3 Ownership and License

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant RewardGuru a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content on the Platform and in promotional materials.

5.4 Content Removal

RewardGuru reserves the right to remove, edit, or reject any user-generated content at any time without notice if it violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate by our moderation team.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Submit false, misleading, expired, or fabricated deals
Post spam, phishing links, malware, or any harmful content
Use the Platform for any illegal purpose under Indian law
Attempt to manipulate deal rankings, votes, or reputation scores
Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or abuse systems
Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without written permission
Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Platform
Impersonate RewardGuru staff, moderators, or other users
Post content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

7. Reputation and Reward Points (RP)

7.1 Earning RP

Users earn Reputation Points (RP) through community contributions including deal submissions, comments, votes received, referrals, and participation in discussions. RP is awarded automatically by the Platform's systems.

7.2 RP Has No Monetary Value

Reputation Points are purely for community recognition and unlocking Platform features. RP has no monetary value, cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged, or redeemed for cash or any tangible reward outside the Platform.

7.3 RP Adjustment

RewardGuru reserves the right to adjust, deduct, or reset any user's RP at its sole discretion in cases of abuse, fraudulent activity, or violation of these Terms.

8. Affiliate Links and Monetization

8.1 Affiliate Disclosure

Some deals and links on the Platform may be affiliate links. When users click on these links and make purchases, RewardGuru may earn a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to the user. This does not affect the authenticity or ranking of deals on the Platform.

8.2 Affiliate Program

Eligible users may apply to the RewardGuru Affiliate Program. Participation is subject to meeting minimum RP requirements and administrator approval. Affiliate links must comply with the Platform's guidelines and applicable advertising laws.

8.3 No Endorsement

The presence of a deal or store on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement by RewardGuru. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or accuracy of any product or service listed.

9. Third-Party Websites and Retailers

RewardGuru contains links to third-party websites and retailer pages. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party websites. Clicking on third-party links is entirely at your own risk. We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party website you visit.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Platform Content

All content created by RewardGuru including the logo, branding, design, software, and original written content is owned by RewardGuru and protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws.

10.2 Trademarks

"RewardGuru" and associated logos are trademarks of the Platform. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

10.3 Copyright Infringement

If you believe any content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at legal@rewardguru.in with details of the alleged infringement.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy available at rewardguru.in/privacy-policy.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Accuracy or completeness of deal information
Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform
Fitness for a particular purpose
That deals will be available or valid at the time of clicking

Deal prices and availability are subject to change by the retailer at any time. Always verify deal details on the retailer's website before making a purchase.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, RewardGuru shall not be liable for any:

Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, revenue, or profits
Damages arising from reliance on deal information posted on the Platform
Disputes between users or between users and third-party retailers

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Platform is to discontinue use.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RewardGuru, its founders, team members, moderators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Your City], India.

19. Platform as Aggregator — Not a Seller

RewardGuru is a deal aggregation and community platform only. We are not a seller, retailer, manufacturer, or party to any transaction between you and any third-party store or brand.

We do not sell any products or services
We do not process any payments
We do not handle orders, deliveries, or returns
All purchases are made directly with the respective retailer on their own website
Any dispute regarding a purchase must be resolved directly with the retailer

RewardGuru has no liability for any transaction you make after clicking a deal link on our Platform.

20. No Guarantee on Deal Accuracy

Deals on RewardGuru are submitted by community members in good faith. We do not verify every deal before it goes live. We are not responsible for:

Deals that have expired by the time you click them
Incorrect prices, discounts, or availability shown
Retailers changing or withdrawing offers without notice
Coupon codes that do not work
Price differences between what is shown on RewardGuru and what the retailer charges

Always verify the deal price and terms on the retailer's website before purchasing.

21. Security and Unauthorized Access

RewardGuru takes reasonable technical measures to protect the Platform and user data. However:

We are not liable for any unauthorized access, hacking, data breach, or cyberattack beyond our reasonable control
In the event of a security incident, we will notify affected users as required by applicable Indian law
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
Do not share your password with anyone
Report any suspected security vulnerabilities to security@rewardguru.in immediately

We follow responsible disclosure — if you find a security issue, please contact us privately before making it public.

22. Force Majeure

RewardGuru shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to server outages, internet disruptions, natural disasters, government actions, or third-party service failures (Supabase, Cloudflare, Resend etc.).

23. No Warranty on Savings

RewardGuru does not guarantee that using the Platform will result in actual savings. Deal quality and availability depend entirely on third-party retailers. Community votes reflect member opinions and do not constitute financial or purchasing advice.
